I recieved a new Silver Dollar City Times in the mail today, and had to share the Half Dollar Holler article in it with you. Also, I found the new 2011 brochures for Showboat Branson Belle and Whitewater in the racks already here in NW Arkansas. No SDC brochures are available in the two places I checked today. I checked and the times has not been put ont he SDC site yet.
Did you get this for being a pass holder or former employee? I get one for being a season pass holder, and haven't yet is why I was asking.
I must have charged something last visit to SDC. My wife and I have been getting the times since our last visit. Anyway, they have my address and name, so they sent me one.
I think we decide last year there is NO pattern to who recieves it. Not all season pass holders get it. Maybe tied to the credit card thing.. not sure.
PTB state that the FEMALE of the house will get it if anyone does... and usually it is sent to a "family" of pass holders.
I get one every time and I am a single male.
I think someone ( PTB) are misinformed.

went back to website this morning and the "worldfest" brochure is gone today.
well mhguy, i got a call back from the office at SDC today, Lisa explained they are in fact OUT if the fliers and waiting for more.
As we suspected they are desogned to mail out to promote season ticket sales.. supposedly she will put me on the list for mailing.
She also explained that the reason i had not received it this time was because i bought my tickets at SDC during OTC. If I had ordered them online or by phone I would be on a different mailing list.
SO there ya go!!

Pretty "as a matter fact" about the reason i was not on the list because I bought in the park, not over the phone or internet. ???
and also basically stated i would not receive one until the big one comes out in june/july.

Still no maps or show schedule online. I'm getting antsy! We are going opening day and I'm a planner! I need to strategize!
I emailed the park and asked them if they could pretty please mail me a map. We will see if they do or not.
I had not noticed that the park map is not on the website right now. Normally it is on the "schedule and brochure" page.
I have also been watching for the new show schedule, but with only 4 shows that wont take long. ;D
