I have been to the museum once, and it definitely warranted another trip since there is SO much to see that I had to speed past. I am so happy that a small piece of the American History from the Ozarks is being preserved.
D.C. is a great place to visit. Lots to see and do. I was there in '77 when the National Gallery of Art hosted the "Treasures of Tutankhamun," an awesome exhibit. All the Smithsonian museums are fantastic, as well as the memorials, Mt. Vernon, Arlington, and of course, the Capitol and the White House. A week is not enough time.
Sounds like a great trip to expierence..... doubt if i will ever make it!
Come on, Sdr, let's go.
