So Sunday, my husband turns to me and says "I have a spare 25$ ya wanna go to SDC??" I was in the car on my computer, kid in the back seat. I was all heck ya! Then he sighs and looks out the window and said "Well I dont think so today. It is kinda wet out and it wouldnt be any fun because we couldnt ride the water rides. So I think we will stay home." How dare he toy with me and my emotions like that?? I was ready and willing and he yanks me dream away from me! ARG! Men can be fickle.
Wow! and he's still breathing?
Yes I know. Its a sad sad day in the life of me. :(
That aint right. I wouldnt even do that to my Indian woman. I'm tellin' ya GreenTram, get'm back by yellin' "fire in the hole" next time ya ride!
On behalf of my gender, I deeply apologize for that! If it were me, I would say-" LA, LA, LA, I can't here you!" until I was on the tram.
Rain and water rides go together!...kinda like splashing somone in a pool...IT DOESN"T MATTER CAUSE YOU"RE ALREADY WET! You are not going to get more wet, once you are already soaked...isn't that the point of the rides...to get wet? Rain wouldn't stop me, I have said it 100 times, and I'll say it 100 more...a rainy day at SDC beats a sunny day at home!

This is so true!
@Greentrams:
That's just wrong!!!! Put on your best canary yellow or cerulean blue outfit to match the poncho that he's gonna buy you and make him carry the umbrella! And yes...rain and water rides do go well together...but not in late October :(
Not to make it worse, but Sunday turned out to be a very beautiful day at SDC.
Dang copper, don't rub it in....
@Greentrams
I think if my fiance did this to me, I would take out my mandolin and play the flooded mine theme until she agreed to go.
Some things you just don't play around with...
Also, this is also an excellent method of getting my kids to clean their room....
thank you for all of the sympathy. It was much needed.....and it made me chuckle!
So when's his funeral! ;D
Kids....it is a great way for the wife to get ME to clean my room! It would be the most immaculate, spotless house on the block
just had a thought......maybe he is holdin out on me cuz my bday is friday and he is going to surprise me with a big weekend hoopla!!!! AT SDC!!!!! YAY!!!!! ....................one can dream right??
Depends... After last weekend he better not disappoint you.
Happy birthday BTW.
you bet, happy b-day ;D.. did you see my posting that SDC is closed this sunday? :'(
yes and I am deeply saddened by yet another season gone. lets all take off our hats to yet another great year and an even better christmas season on its way!
Hes done it again! Hey hunny, would you like me to take you and Campton to SDC early...like Sunday??? Well yes duh of course, then he pulls the wait heres the electric bill, sorry we will still have to wait. Men.
wow! thats cold! You should dial 911!! I am sure that spousal abuse is against the law!! trams i am on your side. Once is funny, But twice in one month???? that's just wrong!
i agree, i feel for ya too GreenTram. cant say much more than that, dont wanna be rude towards ya'r hubby.... :-X
So does he have a death wish or something, sheesh ;)
Well if he is going to cancel a trip over an electric bill, then perhaps you should teach him 1880's style energy techniques such as a fireplace, and by candle light. ;D
ozark, you always had good ideas!! lol. And i know your just trying to help.
Its all right. There were many times between then and now that made me think what was I thinking??? If it wernt for him doin the domestic chores and being an all around great dad, I am afraid to say that well I would hang him up by his toes....
"hang him by his toes"..... Be careful trams, that may be "spousal" abuse!!!!! LOL ;D
Nah, that's just how those woman folk keep their men in line Ozark style. ;D
:o :o ;D ;D
Well, Missin, now you've got a couple of things to hold over his head when you get PO'd at him. Heck, my wife still holds things that happened 20 years ago over my head....and it doesn't take much to get her PO'd at me. She's what you call a "self-starter." Anyway, I'll bet you could figure out a way to turn the tables on him if you tried. ;)
