Aloha River Updates

February 26th, 2011

If you follow our forums, you are probably already familiar with these updates, but for everyone else, here's a recap of the updates we've received of White Water's new Aloha River construction.

Aloha River is a huge reconstruction of a large part of the middle section of White Water Branson, which includes the park’s toddler play area and lazy river style attraction. In what’s being billed as the largest single change the park has ever experienced, Aloha River will transform the rather plain lazy river into a lush tropical paradise complete with waterfalls, extensive landscaping, thematics, and new effects. The new river attraction will still enable riders to float by without getting soaked, but those seeking a little more adventure can enjoy new water features along the course.  The toddler area enclosed by the river is being expanded by 30%, yet another move by the Branson HFEC parks to broaden their appeal to mothers and young families. Other changes to the area include new seating, improved atmosphere and other amenities.

Additionally, the park will expand last year’s popular Night Water event to include every Friday and Saturday night during July and the first two weeks of August. During Night Water the park stays open until 10pm.

This Article has further details and a recent photo from inside the park. Forum member sanddunerider generously supplied us with some New Photos taken from outside the park showing off just how much dirt has been moved for this project. They’re really re-doing the entire area from the ground up.
