SDCFans Site Upgrades + New Facebook Page

Over the course of the next several weeks, a slew of updates will be launched to transform SDCFans into a much more dynamic and entertaining experience.

First of all, SDCFans now has a page on Facebook. I will soon add a tab that pulls in the feeds from the forums and the main site news so that users can keep up on the site without having to jump sites.

One the site itself, a few major changes are going to be rolling out one by one. The first upgrade will introduce our new Wiki system, which will allow site members to create and submit edits to all of our park information pages. Edits will be monitored by site staff before being pushed live. Hopefully this will keep our content fresh and accurate.
Users will also be able to submit news stories and events.

Next, our photo gallery system will be revised so that users can have their own photo galleries, but also tag their photos so that they show up in collective galleries that are attached to the wiki pages for SDC attractions. The new photo gallery system will also be much easier to use and bug-free compared to our old system which has been in limbo for months.

More upgrades will follow these, but I don't want to get too far ahead of myself yet.

On a final note, expect to see a few ads running on the site soon. Don't worry, I won't subject you to any annoying pop-ups or intrusive ads, but I am putting in a few small ad spaces to make up some of the cost of both hosting and my time.
