I have obviously missed something bad here at my time on SDCFans. May I ask what is the vengeance against basketballs??? Sorry...I had to say the word to ask what this is about!  ;)

It is not the balls themselves....   It is the kids walking around with them bouncing them constantly.

You can make the board here https://www.mymonopoly.com/ and then you will actually have a real board.

Or Here..... http://www.tdcgames.com/MYO.htm

Been really thinkin about this board game deal and have decided to repaint the houses and hotels. the houses would be painted a dirty grey and turned into shacks and the hotels painted brown and turned into cabins. I then came up with 50 community chest/Chance cards. Now to find me a board. City Wide yard sell is comin up......

Yah it'd be odd to have 30 Hannah's ice cream shops around the board. It would be funny to have cabins, and (Grandfather's) Mansions

My class today is working on their recreation of "LIFE" from the Revolutionary War era. They are making thier houses our of a few different materials. I might make a quick SDC monopoly cabin and mansion today if I have time-or at least start them, and work on mine as they work on theirs!

nah. I will make a "sample" building for demonstration purposes, and show them how to work on the buildings using mine.

From our monopoly game recreation...
Because the houses had already been made (very simply I might say-hey it is middle school!) I adapted one to be an easy SDC "tilt" house (mansion) and a cabin..

And because I was proud of their attempt to recreate money using founding fathers faces...using a copy machine and no computer!

Overall their game cost them about $4.00 worth of colored papers (variety pack) along with scrap wood from our shop class.Game pieces were made out of sculptey oven fired clay that was donated...

Thinking about this:My thoughts on SDC Monopoly Currency
(Yes some fictitious characters)
$1     Alf & Ralph Bolin
$5     Rube Dugans (I know we never saw him!)
$10   Aunt June
$20   Terry Sanders
$50   The Rainmaker
$100  Uncle Gene
$500  Shad Heller

What do you think?

spectacular! pure creativity!! I love the mansion tilting! I have been pondering the money issue myself and you have came up with that soulution, so snaps to you! Also the game peicies which I have been thinkin of, if you didnt want to use soo-ven-ear pins, you could use stuff from around the park such as a small cube of lye soap, a rock from the "mining" area thing, a peaice of wax from the hokey wax hand makin place. The list can go on and on!!! Anyway......
