Dollywood is the "Six Flags" version of SDC.  Plain and simple.
I like the park, but the theming there leaves a lot to be desired (as does their Christmas event)

Dollywood has updated their Barnstormer website with construction photos from March 14th, 2011.

It looks like construction is almost done on this ride.

Meh.  I'm happy for Dollywood for getting a quality flat ride finally, but I'm having trouble getting excited about this.  Second verse, same as the first and all that jazz

It is rather late in the game for them to be getting a screamin swing, but damn - it and the entire area looks really good. What's up with the lockers being front and center though? Not only do they throw off an almost perfect ambiance, but does this mean HFEC is moving toward SF-style locker policies? It will be interesting to see if they offer cubbies on this ride. I know they slow down operations just a tad, but IMO it's totally worth it not to have to throw $1's away all across the park every time I want to ride something.

I know it I get carried away about people that are not considerate of those around them.

Barnstormer will have loose article bins.  If you look at photo 13 of 14 on the March 14th updated on the website, it shows a bin.

I thought administration was the problem.

It's like we say at work: the inmates are easy, it's the suits who are a pain.
