I had just turned 16, and had just gotten a job as a food service worker at Welch's Vineyard, on Main Street, SDC in 1978. I was paid $2.35 per hour, and was paid half pay for the first two weeks on the job in August. The check totaled about $80. I immediately went out and purchased a $40 camera at Wal-Mart in Branson. A few weeks later, toward the end of the Fall Crafts Festival, I took the Kodak 110 camera to SDC and snapped away. I took  pictures of things and people that are now "lost" in time. The Rainmaker, Sheriff Norm, the Silversmith Shop. Grandfather's Mansion had a waterfall out front. You'll find the photos here:    http://www.flickr.com/photos/juniordugan
