Per Screamscape, Wild Adventures is teaming up with Lowndes County and the City of Valdosta to salute working men and women in the community, particularly those who serve and protect our country. Red, White, and You! will take place at Wild Adventures Sunday, September 6 during Labor Day weekend and will be an all day event featuring more than fifteen displays and demonstrations from local organizations. The all-day event will conclude with the biggest and most impressive fireworks display of the season at 9:00 p.m.
Guests can help Second Harvest of South Georgia by bringing a canned good item to the park to stock the local food bank’s shelves. Guests are encouraged to bring one canned good item Saturday, September 5, Sunday, September 6 or Monday, September 7 to receive 50% off one general park admission. This reduced general park admission includes the second day FREE.
Now that's quite a deal for a good cause. It would be awesome if SDC had a charity promotion for reduced (and/or free) admission.
