^The handshake is amazing! And even though I have that to look forward to, when do you think we can get enough money for the jackets?  ;D

No secret handshake for you!  I remember when I was like you - just starting out with nothing but a dream and a computer.  Keep dreaming BBQ and maybe - just maybe - you will have the satisfaction of looking back at ten times as many posts as you have right now and knowing that you have achieved glory.

I kept thinking you would arrive yesterday, Rube!  I was looking for you, had the candles lit on your welcome cake, had invited the gang to surprise you, and yet you were still 14 away...12 away...  Finally, just as I looked away and started going about my business, you arrived with no fanfare.  I feel so bad that you had no one here to welcome you.

So anyway, as the newest arrival, you must automatically assume the duties of treasurer...and the books are a mess (Sorry.).  When the next new member arrives, you may pass the duty to him or her (So far it's kind of a boy's club.).

You have achieved what very few have, and have become a member of a very exclusive group of individuals.  Count yourself quite the fortunate soul, my friend.

I am not on for the grand entrance, had you had the gang all together, I would have found a way to sneak in the back door and unassumingly join the group, only to say something like "who are we waiting for?" and wait until everyone realized it was me.

I Rubedugans pledge

to continue to reminisce,
to continue my loyalty,
to continue to serve, and
continue to waste company time and money
for my family, my friends, the 1K club, and the legacy of SDC.
