Uhhhh, I bought trailblazer season passes for this year.  Should I try to get a refund or use them?

I was just talking to my doctor yesterday about the subject of masks.  He confirmed what I have been saying the whole time.  Masks are for keeping things in, not keeping things out.  On other words, if you are coughing then by all means wear one to keep from spreading whatever you might have.  If you are not, then they do very little good and continuing to reuse them just puts more contaminates on your face.

Tried to call to roll our passes over to next year yesterday. Called 39 times and never even got into a queue. That's ridiculous!  They must have one person working.

the rollover to next year is automatic., Will be good to June 1st..  Still a full year pass.. from now until then..

Phone line busy?
yes, probably a half a dozen operators trying to answer hundreds of people wondering about refunds, or how to roll their passes over, or how many people a day will be allowed.

They need time to talk to everyone, and I would bet that over half of those calls are not time sensitive.  most calls could wait until next week or next month to get answers..

I for sure feel sorry for what they (the operators) are having to deal with..

They are also giving the option to roll it over to a full 2021 pass (no 2020 visits) without fees or any potential price increase. Otherwise they are valid through June 13, 2021.

....and all of this could have been avoided if they’d just made the passes good through the end of 2021.  There’d be no one asking for refunds or people wanting to roll over passes to 2021.  It would have just worked itself out.  Guess Cedar Fair knew best after all

So if you do not use your SP between now and Dec 31 2020, it will rollover automatically into a complete SP for 2021??    Or if you use it say March 2021 does that nullify the rollover after June 13 2021??

Yes. Wanting to use all next year. This year is a wash for my family as far as passes go. Would've been nice to just extend to all next year like cedar fair. Not like we won't spend a ton on over priced concessions

From the FAQ, it looks like you have to call.

Seeing all the backlash, (and I am sure they are aware of it) they might cave and follow suit with Cedar Fair.

Did find out they were going to pro-rate current SP that are used before June 13, 2021 for the remainder of 2021.  So I presume if you did not use your pass at all in 2020 it would just be considered a brand new pass good for the 2021 season.

Well when they promised a full season of unlimited visits, people have a right to be upset considering the visits are no longer unlimited.

Are the guest passes going to be the same for 2020?  My family buys 2 season passes and use the guest passes for 2 kids.  This could make our season unusable if the guest passes aren't valid.

Also, my 4 year old was going to get a free season pass from the special promotion this year.  Will she still be able to get that?

Yes, I am sure that any of these types of specials are going to be carried.

I think I had read that somewhere.

Yes. The guest passes have a number just like the season passes do. You can enter them in the reservation system to save a spot too. There is also the bonus one that is good for most of the season. It is already loaded in the reservation system and you can choose to add it to the reservation when you add your season pass.
