Issues with User Features
« on: December 01, 2008, 09:44:55 PM »
There's a few issues with the user features that have popped up recently. I'll have them fixed by tomorrow night, so just try not to use them until then.

Thanks!

Ok, the problems should be pretty much fixed now. Please let me know if you guys encounter any bugs, it's hard to catch them all.

I am planning to completely re-write everything OOP-style with a heaping of ajax action soon, so the site's features will be worlds better than what they are now.

Can the "Latest News" headlines at the bottom of the forum pages be links, or are they supposed to just be FYI headlines.  It would be nice to be able to click on them from the forums.

^ I originally had them as links, but because they're coming out of an I-frame, they re-load the site and you would get completely logged out if you clicked on them. I'll probably try to work something out eventually, but for now they're just FYI. I'm also aware that that box looks huge and obnoxious in IE, I'll try to fix that soon, I've got a lot of other things on my plate right now though.

Thanks. I just wondered.  I hadn't actually try to use them until now and noticed they weren't the links I thought they were.  It's nice to have them there - just another way to make me notice the new stuff.
