Wonders of Wildlife has 1.6 millions visitors in first year
« on: September 22, 2018, 04:05:56 PM »
Talk about a milestone in their first year, WoW had over 1.5 million visitors in their first year!  WoW is right!  they already have an expansion planned.

You can see the article at https://www.ky3.com/content/news/Wonders-of-Wildlife-celebrates-first-year-493893901.html

I know there was some discussion earlier on a different thread that Branson visitors aren't aware that WoW exists, but that's a lot of people visiting for something that's supposedly unknown outside of Springfield.
This is a stick up!  Get it? Stick.... Nevermind, it's a train robbery.  I want everyone to get your hands up and act scared.

WOW!!   thatys lots of people going to see "WOW"...   LOL....

Did anyone else catch the line about "not for profit" ?

If thats true....  that means the facility is property tax free?

Also there would be numerous other tax breaks for Mr Morris, IF thats true..

My sister works there. She says their status has them funneling the profits from WoW back into it for more animals and their care, so I would assume that's where a lot of the money from the expansion will be coming from.

Thats great! I hope the expansion doesnt take another 10 years,,,

Keep in mind, I am pretty sure that "Not for Profit", means just that.  "Not For Profit"..

NO profit after all bills/overhead is paid...  That would mean ALL wages/benefits/building/utilities/upkeep on animals and so on.. ALL expenses....

My point being, the upper managment/ownership could be drawing a 1,000,000 per year and that would be wages from the "not for profit" company..

Or after the year is over, there is 12,500,000 in the checkbook... the corporate bylaws could read that Mr M, Mr X, Mr Y, and Mr Z, split that number an even 25% each  (Commision/incentive) , still considered wages from the Not for Profit Company..

Its all a numbers Game..
