HFEC Acquires Pink Adventure Tours

Interesting acquisition. They sold off Ride the Ducks last year, but now they picked up this similar business with a more niche business model. Curious what the numbers look like here. Pink seems to be a much better brand at the moment, in any case. Ride the Ducks is a fun concept, but apparently only the Branson location has ever done that great.

Interesting to see them continue to diversify, but personally I'm wondering when they'll go back to expanding their park portfolio.

Interesting, I was in Sedona a few years back and we considered the Pink Jeep tour but elected to just rent one on our own. Basically we did the same trails that they did at 1/3 the cost. It did seem to be very popular in the area but it does seem like a small niche market. As for the Ducks they just had to many accidents and bad publicity. The line between company owned and franchise was always blurry to me.

Interesting. HFEC was probably looking to pick up the lost revenue from dumping Ride the Ducks, while ditching all the accidents and legal problems.
