Times Revelations
« on: January 05, 2018, 05:30:26 PM »
The New Times, today, claims 2018 is the last year for the Wild West Show and for It's a Wonderful Life.

It also still announces Rudolph's Holly Jolly Christmas Parade is still scheduled.  I thought last year was supposed to be the last year for that parade.

Well, boo. I LOVED the Wild West Show; we went and saw Dixie Stampede that same trip, and I loved SDC's show WAY more! And I absolutely ADORE It's A Wonderful Life! My friends and I went to see it opening season and loved it so much, we watched it a second time that day. I've never really been a huge fan of the movie, but I love the show.

Personally, I think it was a mistake to get rid of World Fest, and now they're getting rid of these. They're slowly getting rid of all the shows I actually like at the park.

...well that can't because a new musical is coming.
Any guesses on which one it might be?

^^I'm right there with you on WorldFest.  I'm sure they can shop much more easily and cheaply for the standard amusement park stuff they have with this new weird festival.

^Swoosh, might I only need 34 guesses?

Disappointed to hear the Wild West Show is moving on.  Same with Wonderful Life.  World Fest was our favorite next to Christmas, though it didn't seem to pull in the guests, which I was sad about. There was still a lot of World Fest this year though, just under a new name.

There was never anything from the park itself claiming that last year was the last one for Rudolph.  Just rumors from one or two people that apparently didn't have much behind them.

For the new show, I don't know, but based on the latest quiz they've been asking, I'm with History Buff.  I think it's going to be a Miracle for them to pull it off without people knowing in advance though.

(Gilligan, that's 2 hints in 2 posts for you. lol)

^I thought last year's Times told us that it was the last year for the Globetrotters and the last year for Rudolph.

I Believe that this will be a great replacement.  I Believe that the crowd will be very happy to hear this musical is coming.  I Believe that it might even get Mr. Macy and Mr. Gimble to shake hands and get along

Next you'll tell us there is no Santa Claus!  :'(  I'd like to see The Pinkerton Man come back to replace the Wild West Show but with Time Traveler next to Echo Hollow I'm not sure that will happen.

I wouldnt mind another Pinkerton show, It would need to be revamped obviousy. It was a fun show, but very. very "busy"..

Shame on you, you doubter.  Yes, there IS a Santa Claus, and he's very real.
