Dumb Questions

Hi SDCF's Thought I'd check in with a new topic. Back in the good ol' days we used to keep track of some of the best Dumb questions that guests asked. This is my invite to anyone who has encountered a dumb SDC question.
Some of my faves were cave questions like:
1: How much of the cave is underground?
2: How many miles of unexplored passageways are there?
3: Are these lights natural?
etc.

4. What time is the 9 o'clock parade?

5. Are the lights in the cave so you can take tours at night?

6. Is that real steam/smoke coming from the chimmney/smokestack/whistle?

This isn't one from SDC but from a spectator at the Civil War Reenactment I was at asked me why I was wearing gray, and If my side had won...yes she asked if the south had won...this was a lady in her mid-30's...never quite had one like that

^well did you side when that particular skirmish?  That was what she meant.

7. After looking at a sign for Lost River that says YOU WILL GET SOAKED for several minutes, the lady turns to me and asks, "do you know if you get wet on this ride?"

^ Oh no, she asked about the war.

^Could it have been she was just using the wrong term?  I bet she meant the skirmish

This is hopefully still on topic, but we Candy Factory kids were known to be a little bit "offbeat" (under the watchful eye of June Ward, how could we not be

Anyway, many times we would take our lunch with the Guests on Park and going to and from lunch people would ask us "How do you get to _________ from here?"  We would put a bewildered and concerned look on our face and somberly say "Ohhhhhhh, you can't get there from here."   We would of course then give them spot-on directions and sometimes walk with them to their destination.

What can I say, you had to amuse yourself somehow.

11.  Do you think we can fly a hot air balloon in the Cathedral Room?

12. Do you think they were lying about the bat poop in make-up?
