Barbara Summers

Barbara Lynn Summers that has worked at the park for 25 years has passed away at only 47 years old.   She is the baker that makes the cup cakes and the wonderful bread pudding at Eva and Delilahs.  I talked to her opening week and she had told me she was so excited because she was getting her 25 year sign this year.   I hope the still do this for her.

That is awful to hear. We have lost too many citizens lately. Thanks for letting us know.

Condolences.  :'(
The memories made at Silver Dollar City last a lifetime.

That's very sad and unexpected. Only 47 too is way too young.

Wow, how sad to hear that.

I would hope that they'd still do the sign for her, as much as a tribute as anything.

Yes, I also hope so. She should rest in peace. I also like bakers and my favorite baker also passed away near my home. My children loved his cupcakes. But 47 years are very less.

Nope, missed that entirely.  Looks like a newbie resurrected the thread and I didn't see it.  :-)

no wonder it seemed like I had already heard that.
