TWO NEW PHOTO TRIP REPORTS TO CHECK OUT!
Hurricane Harbor St. Louis
Six Flags St. Louis' Mardi Gras Festival
Ghost Ship at Morey's was closed at Morwy's for the two days we were there. This was my first rodeo with new Vekoma restraints on the rebuilt invert. It's still a Vekoma Invert but the new restraints are a major improvement IMO.
The old track is still along the pier on the sand.
I was told they still have plans for the two pier woody but the piers are actually in different towns hence bureaucratic malaise. Take it for what it's worth. I'll post an opinion piece on my park visit soon but after three solid weeks on the road, I'm a bit wary.
After Kingda Ka, I'm glad I did it, twice actually but in no hurry to it again and El Toro is solid but I don't get the hype and that after two trips in the front and two in the back. The DD and I could ride Nitro all day long and we did for a 11/2hrs.
I'm still icing the bruise on my left shoulder from the restraints on the s&S freespin and Great Adventure's arrow mine train needs put down.
The best ride ops, Busch Gardens, friendly, interactive with their riders , the most German like..... Hersheys. No personality at all, very stoic and all business, everything was prerecorded commands, ect, ect, ect. And they stacked as bad as the Six Flags Parks. Everything said about SkyRush is true. The restraints and getting stapled in with the pain inflicted on your thighs makes a potential epic ride into a painful one.
