Spam Attack
« on: December 27, 2018, 08:07:40 PM »
Just noticed and deleted a huge spam wave attack. Just a bunch of bot accounts trying to get through the filter to spread spam. Looks like a couple of them got through while I wasn't looking. Security settings have been tweaked.

^Well that's creepy. I guess they are trying to spoof us to spam members. If anyone else gets a spam email that purports to be from the site, forward it to steve@sdcfans.com so I can take a look at it. These guys are getting more inventive every year.

I haven't seen the email.  But then it's also very likely that, depending on what was in it, that my filters caught and destroyed it before I ever saw it.

Thanks for your diligence!
This is a stick up!  Get it? Stick.... Nevermind, it's a train robbery.  I want everyone to get your hands up and act scared.
