Refill mugs
« on: June 27, 2016, 08:34:30 PM »
Just to confirm they do still refill the grandfathered mugs before 2012 right?  Is it the current refill price or the price listed on the mug?  I just scored a Buzzsaw mug with $1 refill.  I am looking for a couple of other ones.  We have bought new mugs the last 3 years and just bought new ones this year as well.  I had been meaning to find old mugs to avoid having to buy new ones all the time.

I'm guessing you'll have to pay current refill price.

We had to pay current refill price on Friday even though our mug had a lower price printed on it.

I guess they changed that then. I believe they used to charge you the price that was printed on the cup.  Oh well.

Not all employees are aware of it.  Sometimes you have to remind them (or even teach them)

^So much this. Had to do that myself to a couple of the teenagers who were running some of the concessions. One was convinced I was a scam artist until an older employee had to educate him.

We have a Buzz Saw Falls cup and an old SDC Christmas Parade cup that says $1 refill, and they still honor it for us.

I got a first released edition of one of the PK mugs from '05 and a OTC mug from the same time frame. I also got one of the original SDC glass mugs and a Buzzsaw Falls mug packed away somewhere too.

I really feel special and part of the "in" crowd now that I have a Buzz Saw mug.  It is not here yet, will not be here till Tuesday though.  I need to find a couple more of them but will settle for some of the $1.50 refills I guess.

Here is another questions for ya.  I see some of the mugs will say $1.50 soda refillls and $2.25 specialty refills which I assume are the frozen drinks.  I also see some cups every now and then that just say $1.50 refill and nothing else.  Are these good for refills on soda and specialty drinks for the same price?
