The email I received didn't mention anything about the proceeds going to charity. It might have been mentioned in the "get details" but I didn't click on that button since I wasn't interested in paying an extra $25 to ride Time Traveler.

I told my 9 year old about the tickets today and he said it was not worth spending the money on!  I was shocked.  Anyway, I will be there Wednesday at normal opening time.  Debating on if I should head directly to TT, or just go about riding other rides.  I bet everyone heads directly to TT and its either go there first and get it over with, or wait but I am sure the later in the day the longer the lines for that.  Or just skip it and ride it another visit.  BTW the site says there are 413 tickets left.

You all realize that the likelihood that TT opens at 9 am will be slim. The temperature has to be 41 degrees or more and It wont be 41 degrees at 9am. Don't think anyone is thinking about that. It may be several hours later before it warms up enough.

I thought about that today. Wonder what they’ll do with those of us who bought a ticket to be one of the first 500 to ride if it doesn’t get to 42 until 10:30-11am or later? Make us wait in the line or have the ability to ride other rides and then use the ticket as a trailblazer of sorts and skip the line when temps do reach 42?

I was told by Sir Willow that the folks who bought a special ticket will wait at the Red Gold Hall until the temp rises above 41 and then be escorted down to TT.......so you will still be the first to ride.

I’m using a local weather app from northeast Arkansas so your temp may be more accurate, Swoosh. I know one thing for sure- it can only be better than last year. My wife and I went (as we have each year since being married) and I don’t think it got above 37 with a wind on top of that if I remember correctly. Pretty sure we only rode Outlaw Run, FITH, and Thunderation.

Accure Weather indicates that it will only be 35 at 10am.....but then again there are many different forecasts and each probably is different. Regardless, I still think it wont be open at 9AM,

I guess the temp is going to crash after midnight.
In the end doesn’t matter to me.  I won’t be there until the weekend and it’ll be plenty warm then

Yeah its supposed to be a very nice weekend and with that it will be extremely busy.....better get yourself a trailblazers pass.....but that only gets you to the front of the line once per day on TT.

Part of me hopes the chance of rain on Friday keeps some of the crowd away!  ;D
