Hmmm, does this mean that art/sign shop across from the toy store is going to move out?

It was just a placeholder anyway.

We were sent a photo of the new construction wall that has gone up around the former area where the Magic Shop and the TNT arch was located.

...and seriously that planter between TNT restrooms and Christmas Corner needs to go.  Look at how it is just in the way

Oh wow that is going to be strange with the magic shop and arch gone

It sure is a lot of seating to lose though.

Seating for what?  The Christmas parade?  People will survive.  The greater need is a wider midway on what will become a very busy point in the park

QUESTION????

Does anyone know what the estimated revolutions per minute of car is for TT..    I havent seen that number anywhere yet..

Being a controlled spin, that has to be calculated somehow

Carr Excavating shared more photos today.  I got to admit, the retaining walls really class up the look of this ride

Awesome pics

Thought as I was viewing them.....has the park every had any issues with wildlife around the rides?  I'd assume the fencing would keep out the larger creatures (deer, humans).  But Id hate to think about what might happen to a random squirrel.

Bird strikes are pretty rare, but not entirely unheard of in the coaster world. Most animals figure out to stay clear pretty quick though.

Weird that they are going back in to finish the retaining walls still. Seems like the site sat motionless for long enough - would have been easier to get it done earlier. Probably a scheduling issue.

Two Thoughts

Hope they put caps on them.

Hope they use a concrete stain to knock the gray out and blend it better with the natural landscape.

There wont be any caps on that style of block....

They wont stain them, They would have used a different product if they had wanted to "match" the "natural" landscape.

The fitted wall with all the blocks a uniform size will look great when complete.
