I saw the station for myself, today, and as tall as it is, starting from a lower position on the hillside, I notice the peak is the same elevation as the peak on TnT.

It seems that the turret at the top blends well with the one on TnT, as well as others in the park.

The siding also looks much better in person, but who knows what the final color will be when paint is applied (or if the natural color of the siding will be retained).

Some supports are there, but I only spotted some small ones at this point - nothing too impressive yet.

That's a good point. Could be coincidence, but who knows. There's certainly still the possibility that mining will be the theme after all. We've been talking about the significance of them saving TNT's queue entryway and what the Wild Mountain name could mean if it isn't a red herring. Perhaps the real name hasn't even been trademarked yet - I'm not sure if there is a waiting period or not.

A little birdie told me that not only has track arrived, but a piece is in position already? Anyone get a visual confirmation on that?

I can confirm track is on site.

One piece is already vertical and there's a few large hill bottom or inversion pices visable from the train ride.

The track is a triangle box style that is used by various manufacturers including Gerstlauer, Mack, and Intamin.

Hopefully this is not an Intamin because they only have OTSR on their new coasters rather or not it goes upsidedown and their OTSR are painful.

Here the piece of track that has gone vertical I got as close as I could which is by the new Echo Hallow bathrooms.  I am watching Rick Skaggs tonight.

Another photo of the vertical track piece. Picture taken from the seating bowl at Echo Hallow.

Thanks for sharing the photos! Can't wait for the full report Swoosh!

I'm very surprised to see track show up and get placed so quickly! I thought for sure we'd spot it heading to the park or hanging out in a back lot in a couple of months. Now I'm going to be tempted to take a trip out there every week...

I can't believe they went through the trouble of adding a fence by the train tracks when this thing is going to be coming together anyway right in front of everybody. Won't be long now before we can figure out this this thing is going to be an intense looping coaster, or more focused on curves (indicating a spinning coaster), or who knows what.

Track is black-green which really blends in with the trees.  There's a bunch that can be seen in parking lot across from foam ball factory building in FL

Nice photos sawblade
Small wonder our lives have so little of God in them, when we come in touch with so little that God has made.

Wow. I'm gone for a week and so much has happened. This is getting really exciting and I am also shocked track pieces have arrived when this will supposedly not open for another 10 months. I think we are in for some major surprises.

On the way in to Echo Hollow, I was able to get this shot.  It's big!  I overheard a worker talking to a couple of guests who were asking her about the big building. She told them that at this point, no one knows what the building is going to be, although she thinks it will be a coaster.  She also said that SDC employees will find out what it is at the same time it is announced to the public in August.  She gave them the website for signing up for early release of information.  Early speculation among employees and guests was that it was going to be a bed and breakfast.  ;D

Not sure why it's sideways - I didn't enter it that way and can't seem to change it.

Went ahead and posted the photos.  We just got home less than an hour ago.

http://www.midwestinfoguide.com/2017/05/time-traveler-track-hung.html

Photos of the track in the air - another piece ready to go - and several supports up already. There is more track visible from the train.  Did some detail shots on the station.  HUGE update.  Enjoy!
