Strolling the corners of the internet and found this.  Man, I wish they still sold stuff like this.

I should rephrase:  I wish people would still use serving trays in their every day lives as well.  Wasn't that a simpler time!

I have the Dogpatch version, I believe made by the same company. Anyone have the Saloon set, with tin cups?

From, I think, the 1950s through at least the mid-80s, there was a company in Branson that made tons of tourist stuff that was sold in shops throughout the area. The company was called Lugene's, and was located at the Old Engler Block site, next to the now defunct Pizza Hut on W Highway 76. They made many, many gift shop items, like the metal trays, tin cups, ceramic items, coffee cups, hillbilly stuff, and so on. If you bought it at SDC in the 60s-early to mid-80s, chances are it came from Lugene's. They also sold to Dogpatch, area gift shops, music shows, and anywhere else you could buy cheap made in Japan or China stuff. I remember whole local families finding employment at Lugene's in the old days.
Check mom and dad's house, and grandma and grandpa's place, and you will find Branson gift items made at Lugene's, and they usually put a sticker on the stuff they screen printed sold.

Interesting.  No such label on the back of it, but I'd bet it came from Lugene's
