I just paid $340 round trip from Boston to Dallas on Southwest. Their prices vary wildly depending on how far in advance, what day of the week, etc.

If you have any flexibility, check their low far calendar. Changing by a day or two can make a huge difference in price.

KB-I was thinking that too. I even mentioned the possibility of that in a post. I didnt really check too many things. I dont know if my brother checked in to it any farther or not. I think he is going to rent a car and drive up by himself after Christmas.  He gets a refund for a 2 day rental. (from a previous problem).

On one of the morning shows, they suggested booking airfare on Tuesday - cheapest day of the week to book.

You think Richie Branson might fund me a startup?  I can fly better than that.

This is bad big news, last one out of Jackson...please flush. Laboombox has ended all potential large industrial growth in central Mississippi.
