They put live maggots under a dressing on your wound that won't heal.  Ew.....

I've heard of that before.  They do it with burn patients.  Ewwwwww!

Its actually a really cool process. I am all for it. Its gross yes, but so magnificent. Maggots go in a cast goes on. Nasty skin underneath. And then like a butterfly when the cast comes off, moths fly out and ya got pretty skin.
The smell of asphalt and butane says home!

Maggots are effective, efficient, and painless. Manual debridement of dead tissue is not.
