Ozarks Legacy & Legend IMAX film
« on: May 27, 2008, 08:41:57 PM »
Does anyone recall the IMAX film that starred a few Silver Dollar City citizens, Jim Haygood, Dave Smith, Les Weist and Gene Boertner, to name a few?  I finally got it on DVD but truly the magic of the film is lost without the IMAX screen ratio and pre-show "sound test"

^I haven't seen it, but if you live close to Branson the film is showing right now at Branson's Imax Theater.  I'm not sure how long its run will be.

Well, it has been playing there since 1995 or 1996, so hopefully it will be there for a while longer.  The restaurant inside of the IMAX building is called McFarlane's which is the name of the family from the film.   They apparently have a lot tied up in the lore of that movie.
