We had a great time out there yesterday and especially enjoyed getting our $1 hot chocolate refills with the works in our SDC mugs.  People kept asking where they could get mugs like ours so they could get the same deal.  My wife told them about the glass mugs from several years back where the refills are still only $.75, and the vendor mentioned the really-several-years-back tin mugs; it seems the refills for those are just $.50!  Anyone have those still out there?

^Yes, it was great to put a face to the name.  You were understandably busy.

^Wow!  Keep updating that.  What a collection.  RiverFest ribbons (I used to have a few and wish now I'd kept them), $2.00 and $1.00 admission tickets all the way back to 1969, and a train ticket mentioning the Butterfield Stages!  Fantastic! ;D

This is an impressive set.  Have you collected everything from personal experience, or have you searched high and low for your ephemera treasures?

Much of it I have had for years, having visited the park every year since 1980...We have alot of stuff! More recently in the last year or two I have been searching whenever I could at flea markets, estate sales, and the most easily accessible method, the internet. I love seeing the changes/evolution of the park, and the additions, the memories, and what is to come for a wonderful place. I just finished scanning my postcard collection (i think there are over 100 different ones), so once I get them scaled down, they will also be up. Thanks for the comment, it is great to know that people are enjoying the memories, so the time spent on them is worth it for me!
