Nice catch! Lot's of great material, and information. I wish The Times was that informative, but I know it is sent out for advertisement purposes only. Now, with the Pathfinder hitting the press you know it's time for opening day! ;D

We have gone the first few weeks of the season for the past few years.  While we had a great time, with barely any of the regular shows going and so many of the shops closed, it seemed like something was missing.  I wish they would go full bore from the opening day.

I think I found a misprint on the map of the Pathfinder.  Look closely and you will notice that they have "flipped" the locations of Christmas Hollow and the Woodcarvers shop.  The schedule also says the Woodcarvers shop will not open until Bluegrass and BBQ, while Christmas Hollow is already open.  Normally its the other way around.

Don't forget, but Christmas Hollow & the Woodcarvers Shop are 'trading spaces' starting this year.
Possibly Christmas Hollow was an easier move than the Woodcarvers Shop was, that is why Woodcarvers is opening up later than normal.

Interesting catch! I also had no idea of the switch. It seems like the Woodcarvers shop has been in that same building forever. As far as Christmas Hollow, it seems like it changes buildings every ten years. :P

I had to go back and look, but you're right!

And of course, most of the pictures were of food, or maybe it just seemed that way because I'm starving!! Why does pizza have to stay in the oven for so long!?

Here's the response from SDC

Thank you for asking. The map is correct. the location for the shops have changed for the 2012 season. Because of the change, the Valley Woodcarvers have delayed opening in order to properly set the shop up. Thanks again for checking!

I also wish all the shops wer open and more shows were going on.. it's almost like 1/2 of the city is still shut down until mid-april or so...
