Read online today that Holiday World has backed out of the plans to reopen Kentucky Kingdom. Decided that leasing a park would not be a good thing -- the Kentucky State Fair board would be their partners. Representatives of Holiday World said that Six Flags did not do a good job of shutting down the park. Instead of winterizing rides/faciilities, Six Flags just walked away and left things like they were on the last day of operations.

Just another state-run fair board screwing things up again. I can't believe they didn't hire anyone to inspect the place and make sure everything was taken care of. This multi-million dollar theme park is now toast. There's no coming back from this.

That's how corporation's and government works.  They suck at preventative measures. They are only reactionary and do not think or plan ahead.
