Larson, I saw that you were coming down next month...

Make sure you read the updates on the thread " Homestay- Eagle Lodge", in the branson talk section.

Paige Has another motel available for us to use and will be open.

We're actually not going until Easter now. Going to Bennet Springs next month to do some trout fishin'. But thanks for the heads up, I will make it a point to stay with Paige at least once this year. Had a blast last time and really do appreciate what she does for us and will do what I can to get her some biz.

Tentative plans are to be on park on opening day, Thursday. I hope to be there early for breakfast, and plan to spend a while in the afternoon over in Branson if possible to get some tornado damage shots. I want to post SDC and Branson photos on my Flickr site. We will see what happens.

It looks like we won't make it until early April.  :(  Need a couple of weeks of p.t. to recover from broken knee incident first.  But...that's okay!  I'll be ready for World Fest!  :)

Well, we're officially heading into Branson on March 17th and to the park on the 18th.  We're going to stay at Grand Country Inn for the first time and try out the indoor water park.  We're trying this mainly for the two-year-old.  We're hoping Sunday won't be too busy at SDC.

Sorry to hear about your knee Gilligan, but going to Silver Dollar City late is always better than not going at all.

Stacey, it sounds like your family will have a nice trip. It’s good to know that you will be trying something new. Some people get into a rut with Branson, and visit the same places during each visit. Branson has so much to explore. :)

I love Grand Country Inn. It is absolutly amazing for the kids. Heck its fun for me! It is pricey and I dont like to pay the price so I dont go often. But the price is well worth it. It will be a full trip when coupled with SDC!! Have a good time and safe trip!

It sounds like alot of us will be there opening day/weekend!! How exciting!!

Ozark--Yes, we like to try new things here and there to mix in with our favorites.

Trams--Grand Country Inn is pricey for Branson, but I convinced my husband that we should try it.  We stayed at a place in Tulsa last July with an indoor water park, and it was so fun for our toddler.  We think she will love this, too!

Hey trams and stacey.  do you ever go to any of the shows at Grand Country?
The reason i ask, is If you do, You should consider buying a grand country season pass---
You get into all the shows all year for free,
you get 2 for 1 meals at the buffet,
AND new this year,, you get 50% off on the price of their rooms,
And you still get admittance to the water park,
there a couple of other items, but these are the big ones..

The pass is about 100.00 per person, but at 100.00 per nite...  1 pass would pay for itself in 2 nites...

Just letting you know.,......

Thats pretty cool. We dont usually spend that much at Branson for one night if possible. Camping or the Homestay for us. After buying season passes our fun account gets low low low!! But well worth it!  :D
