Seriously, I didn't really mind the sparks but it did seem to give the logo a Disney kind of feel to it the probably doesn't belong. I don't think I'll miss them either.

I guess if they changed the axe to hammer it would work if they wanted the sparks. That would look like the anvil of the blacksmith then.

This is one of my Christmas presents I got from my dear friends, the Sanders, it was one that was replaced with the horid "Disney" version... :)

I see the new logo is used on the January SDC Times, but the old logo with the sparks is still used on the 2012 Calendar/Benfits brochure that came with our Season Passes. Interesting.

I opened the Times online and used the snipping tool. This is what the logo looks like.

Looks like the "rainbow" around the edge is still the same? yes? ???

For me the overall design of the logo does not bother me. Ya there are some of the aspects I dont like but as a whole it does not affect my visit. I am going to love visiting no matter what!  :)
