I think we'll still go...

I'm debating wearing this shirt (which I own). What do you think?

I got an email about the weekend in case you were planning:
Quote
Thank you for your interest in Young Christians Day April 2. 2011. During this special event the park is open to the public, however, this is a special event for Christian Youth so all the resident performance venues will be replaced with special focus groups and rally's. There will be NO resident  SDC entertainment, the stages will be filled with Christian pop/rock and speakers targeted to teens), ofcourse the rides will be running

If attending, please be prepared for a large number of youths and teens on park. Traditionally attendance during this special event can be 20,000 plus and with the recent weather and the forecast for this weekend being extra nice this number will certainly hit that mark and perhaps more.

20,000 plus?  for the 3 day event?  Or just the main sat event.  20,000 for a couple of days is no big deal,  we dealt with that number opening weekend.

I have been during another weekend, and maybe it is because I teach middle/ high school that I wasn't too appauled by the actions of the kids. A few times I DID want to shush a few groups, but in groups, even the best of kids with the best of intentions/ beliefs can go astray. I am used to being around loud, obnoxious, inconsiderate kids, so this is no biggie. Last time I was there, some kids were wonderful, and I only saw a few "bad apples" practically running people over being loud, and disrespectful. I am looking forward to being at SDC, and Yes, I will write a good review of the visit!

Hmmm.....well, I havent experienced this first hand so it might be kinda hard to come up with a Top Ten. I know it's just kids run amuck and that is a pretty general subject, but not knowing the real experience, might take away from it.

Hmmmmm..... ::)

Day 1 of YCW complete, much too much to post from an iPhone . I will put my whole review up by Monday. One more day to go...today wasn't too bad, a few big problems, but overall pretty smooth. One question for me to leave you with, Are the Beatles, more specifically, the song  Elanor Rigby Usually blasted modern rock style at Christian revivals/ gatherings? They sure were not 15 yrs ago when I was attending similar events.
