You can also add the photo of the Backstreet Law Office to my group of photos titled "Not in Miss Mary's time" because you will notice a modern trash can next to the law office door. Again, since I'm an "old timer" when I saw the trash can sitting there it just pissed me off to no end. Pardon my strong feelings here, because, it would never have been allowed in Miss Mary's Time!  ;)

I had to laugh when I saw your pic complaining of a modern water cooler in plain sight, because it was at the Mighty Galleon: a cheap traveling carnival ride that also wouldn't have been allowed in Miss Mary's Time.

I get the idea of the Grand Exposition; I just think it needs a ragtime band or a barbershop quartet to complete the mood.  They could also have displays in RG for the newfanglediest innovations of the day (the day meaning the 1880s, not the present day).

So I know that the gate by the Candy Factory is on the list of "Do Not Enter" secret places (and hopefully no one would have to go there during their trip) but unfortunately that is also where First Aid is located so I'm thinking that place is one location that blurs the line.   By the way, couldn't they think of moving that to a different location?  There's a lot of behind the scenes stuff on the other side of that gate.

I went to First Aid when I was a wee one after I got stung by a bee. I was offered a Benedryl but didn't take it because duh! it doesn't fit the theme.

Haytater:  I'm surprised that they didn't recommend putting some of Granny's Lye Soap as a cure-all for what was ailing you for your sting.  THAT would have been themeing and a great way to upsell!
