Bad service means our food was cold, we had to get a manager to fill our drinks all 3 times and the whole time we were there we never had our chips refilled......   WILL NEVER GO BACK.

As much as I enjoy hearing about everyone's recommendations, I also appreciate the experiences shared on here including the negative ones.

Regarding mexican food, does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on Pancho Villa or Ellenettas?

Speaking of food on the Landing...

I know pizza isn't the first thing you think of when you come to Branson, but Old Chicago down on the Landing is great.  We went there last week and loved it...sat outside with the kids...great experience and great pizza.

Yep.  They advertise that they have some of the best margaritas in town... and I don't think they're lying! ;)

We love Casa Fuentas....   We go there every time we are in town.   Have you tried Florentina's Italian Ristorante?  It opened in late march.  It is wonderful.  Here is their web site http://www.florentinasristoranteitaliano.com/

Try the Italian Nachos @ Old Chicago Pizza. For an appetizer, the portion size is HUGE, feeds 4 and tastes amazing :)

Missouri couple sentenced for tax fraud KMOV.com

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) -- A southwest Missouri couple has been sentenced for defrauding the government by paying some of their employees in cash.

The U.S. Attorney says 74-year-old Carl Davis of Branson was sentenced Monday to two years in federal prison without parole and ordered to pay $189,892 in restitution. His wife, Jo Davis, was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution.

Carl Davis admitted in March that he paid some employees at the Farmhouse Restaurant in Branson in cash to reduce the amount of taxes he paid. He also admitted filing false personal tax returns for 2000-2004.

Jo Davis admitted that she filed a false personal tax returns in 2004 and 2005.

Carl Davis' son, 48-year-old Jeffery Davis, was sentenced in October 2009 to one year and one day in prison and ordered to pay $62,508 in restitution for his part in the restaurant scheme.

The real shame is, the restaurant has made huge money over the last 30 years, and there is no need to defraud the government of the taxes that are owed. These folks could have still made a very fine living paying taxes and putting employees on the books properly. No need to pull crap like that, ever.
