Parson's Chance and Community Chest
« on: January 03, 2011, 09:54:31 AM »
Happy New Year, All!

Parson is looking for ideas for his homemade SDC Monopoly cards (Chance and Community Chest). He has the properties, now he needs ideas for the cards. So....let's say we load him up and fire off as many ideas as we can muster up?! Here's a few of mine....(assign to Chance or C.C. as you see fit).

"Getting married in the Wilderness Chapel. Pay $10"

"Baldnobbers set your hotel on fire. Pay Repairs $150"

"Caught helping convicts escape Flooded Mine. GO TO JAIL"

"Win Yodeling contest. Win $25"

"Get caught sneaking into SDC without paying.  GO TO JAIL"

"Win banana split eating contest.  Collect $50"

"Your horse needs new shoes.  Pay Blacksmith $100"

There are so many "repairs" to use. Such as FM, FITH, AP, WF, Thunderation, G'Pa's Mansion, etc., etc.

Ate too many funnel cakes. Pay Hospital $_______

Win Funnel Cake eating contest. Collect $______

Make blacktop repairs. Pay $_______

You have been elected Mayor of SDC. Collect $______

There are some doozys in the "SDC Monopoly" thread that a lot of people came up with!

Caught by Carrie nation in the Saloon drinking Coca Cola on the rocks Pay ________
You try to helo the Bolin boys rob the train Pay_______
You need Shod, your horse throwed a shoe Pay_________
Topsy turvey-nothing is normal in Grandfather's Mansion You're still dizzy Pay__________

There were many more but most had to deal with moving forward or backward spaces...

You're quite welcome, Parsons! I figured with the way we all come up with ideas regarding SDC, this would be a no-brainer. You'll probably have an overabundance of ideas and will have to sort through 'em all!

Hey Rube, I didnt even know a SDC Board Game existed!  :o  That's awesome! 'Bout what year was that from?!?!

Wow, absolutely incredible! I knew Silver Dollar City was popular, but to have their very own board game just fourteen years after opening? That's pretty cool I must admit. I want to play! ;)

I remember that SDC game! Seems like it was sold in the Ozark Marketplace and maybe the Hospitality House.
