Yeah, I'm kinda confused as to why I'm on the email list and signed up to receive surveys, and yet I've not been sent a survey link for several surveys now

I think they send the surveys out to a demographic, I used to get them as well but haven't in a while. I have have had a seasons pass for 20 years straight.
You would think I would receive them but.............

Perhaps they only send out surveys to the specific group of people that they want to draw to their park rather than just return visitors? That way they can almost "force" the surveys to lean towards the park's agenda.

I am just teasing. I really don’t know. :P

I have been getting them lately but did not used to.   I am a single parent with 2 small children.  I guess right now they want to know what I want.  lol

Went today 8/22/10 and Powder Keg was playing bluegrass the first 10 min in line then the final 30 min there was no music.
I thought the bluegrass was a nice return but letting it fall silent when there is a 40 min wait and its hot is a little lax.  I wonder if those Powder Keg employees are the ride ops that have been there a while. Whatever the deal is they are pleasant but they either play the wrong music or they play nothing...
I don't understand.
It was a great day at SDC

I think they get annoyed by hearing the PK theme over and over. And having waited in a long line for PK before and heard the theme several times over, I can't exactly blame them.

I like how at River Blast, they play the theme song then play some bluegrass then play the song again.

I personally think that the Powder Keg song s#cks.
Its not a FITH or FM theme song that's for sure.
I just wish they would play something besides currant music ( and if they skip that theme song I will never say a word)
But they should play music, the guests are more important that their personal tastes and wishes.

I'm more and more convinced that they should license the Pickin' On series to play in the park. It'd be bluegrass, but people could also go, "Hey, I know that song!" and sing along to the music if they so choose.

It's funny you should mention that. I love the Pickin' On series! Now THAT would be the perfect music for Moonlight Madness.  ;D

I learned about Pickin' On from mentions on this forum! :) When I went looking for samples on Amazon to listen to, I was just... floored. It's SO amazing!

Sweet I am glad that I helped everybody find what we see as a solution to this...the best of both worlds (and no that is not a Hannah Montana reference)

I have not been to moonlight madness, but it just does not sound like madness to me. Wheee I am riding a roller coaster at dusk. Whoop-ee. I like the admission price. I thought that was fair but from what I read on here it just does not seem all that splendid. What can you really do at "night" that you cant do during the day? What is so spectacular that wouldd grant me to stay and spend more money? Theres a swimmin pool at my motel.....my kid likes to swim....He cant ride PK or WF. SO I guess it boils down to being a party pooper (again) If they did somethin so mind blowing AMAZING, so STUPENDOUS and they did it only at that time, I would go. Otherwise count me as a day citizen (which I have now reached that amazing status snaps to me!!) and I will chill in the motel room with free internet and cable at night. Oh and the coveted swimming pool!!!
