We have stayed at Classic Motor Inn many times great that they offer discount, been to Homestead awhile back wasn't thrilled with it but not horrible by any means. Becoming rather fond of Lodge at the Falls and both Angel Inn locations but as soon as summer peak prices hit we will be at Classic! Since we have large family we always get two rooms which requires us to be as thrifty as possible so exclusive discounts are awesome.

It will never happen, as long as HFE owns the park, so not too worried about the misguided rants. I have been to Frontier City and the castle only because I was in Tulsa and Moore visiting family and the entire time I was there was wishing I was at SDC instead there is no comparison. It's like comparing pork steak to porterhouse!

Just spotted this post about new shootin' gallery for this summer at shepherd of the hill constructed by the guys of the show Redwood Kings. They make some highly themed state of the art galleries, looking forward to checking this out. SDC should have these guys do a reboot of huck finn"s hideaway

Awhile back I viewed a pic inside of FITH that showed the resemblance of a man's face in the artificial rock veneer of FITH. I was fascinated by the construction team's creativity displayed in this ride due to my past experience of contracting. I've been looking for this detail for quite some time since I viewed the pic, and I finally found it yesterday right before park closing. In my joy I told the family about it so we rushed to get one final ride so I could point it out to them. I pointed it out to my daughters who are 9 and 10 and hardcore .FITH and SDC fans already, they said it totally creeped them out, lol! I won't disclose location, I feel it adds to the mystique of the ride, so keep a sharp eye!

I viewed a post about Dollywood breaking ground on new attraction rumors abound about so-called "shot gun" an RMC hybrid launch coaster. Anyone have any insight on this?
