Isn't a moon pie actually a whoopie pie?

This video shows the elevator working and testing of rafts. I wasn’t expecting quite the spin that it gets going before it gets to the drop. It spins more than Time Traveler. 🤣 Maybe it won’t spin so much in the end with more weight.

Man grab the popcorn and go thru the comments over on the SDC FB page ...lol wow they seriously opened a can of worms on this deal.
Just living life. Work, eat, & sleep until last week. Finally got layed off, we should bounce back though. Filed my unemployment & all that already, Had 2 trips to SDC planned this year, May 7 & 8, then August 8. Been posting a lot on "You Know Your From SDC If.." Facebook page lately. I check in here every couple days. I hope everything is going good with you Gilligan.
I'm certain they could have set up a coffee shop location without using Starbucks or any other coffee brand. I've wanted them to add a coffee shop for awhile, but why not sell their own brand and train a few employees as baristas? They could've called it Mountain Jacks brand and sold it by the bag. I always hoped they would turn Mountain Jacks building into a coffee shop.
I feel like you’re overthinking this. From what I’ve heard, they’ll serve regular black, decaf and tea. This is only “serving Starbucks coffee” and not full blown Starbucks. I don’t even foresee there being baristas.
But here in the US... well, firstly, we have a terrible healthcare system.
You have got to be kidding . . . .
Posted this in the wrong thread earlier. First mistake I ever made!
Sorry, Swoosh: more histoy-nerding to come in 2020. Two years ago, I had the privilege of living on the property at George Washington's Mount Vernon for a week (Another SDCFan has done so multiple times, BTW.). Last year, I spent a week at Fort Ticonderoga in Upstate New York.
And then came 2020:
Here was a nice surprise that arrived in my emailbox this week: word from Virginia about my acceptance to the summer teacher institute at Colonial Williamsburg. Huzzah, indeed!
"Huzzah! We are very pleased to offer you a scholarship to the 2020 Bob and Marion Wilson Teacher Institute of Colonial Williamsburg. Your scholarship includes tuition and transportation.
"Within 10 business days you will receive an additional email from us. That email will provide your program information, including the session date and instructions for how to register/confirm your attendance and arrange your transportation...
"Sincerely,
"The Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute Team"
