I'm pretty sure La Hacienda is permanently closed - which is a bummer!  I thought it was by far the best Mexican restaurant in Branson.  I read on another forum that it was closed.

I was at Silver Dollar City the 23rd and trailblazer almost caused a riot on both the powder keg and thunderation. It wasn't because people paid to go to the head of the line, it was because if 6 people using trailblazer got on they left the other seats empty. At thunderation, a worker got on the mike to explain what had happened and was drowned out with cries of "fill the cars!).

Yikes!  I agree they should fill the cars.

The restaurant at College of the Ozarks has consistent high reviews, but it's pricey.  I really like Outback Steak and Oyster Bar (not affiliated with Outback Restaurant).  Also, Cantina Laredo (a chain) is a favorite of mine.  I didn't realize until recently they are a chain.  Montana Mikes also has good reviews.  I have been there once, and the pork chops were fantastic.  Happy Birthday and have a great time!

I would be happy with a makeover of AP and a re-opening of the treehouse.

If not, Sanddune, maybe you should give Garfield's a try.  I haven't ever been there, but I've thought about it the bazillion times I've walked by.  Does anyone know what's on their menu?  I thought it was a hamburger sort of place.

You’ll be fine Tiff! :)

There is a lot of hype about Wildfire Taffy, but after the first adrenaline rush it isn't too bad. I think it’s just the extra cinnamon that makes it “hot.’

Don't believe him, Tiff!  You've been warned!!   :o :o :o :o

1)A couple of years ago...shortly after Veteran's Day- we were boxed in the parking lot.  Literally, could not move in any direction!  Called security - said there wasn't anything they could do;I guess we weren't the only ones stuck.  I would have been happy to wait it out, but was with the family member that hates the City and we were stuck listening to her wrath for awhile.  Geesh!  Glad that experience is over.

2) Same time frame as above.  Walked in the gates and could go no further than Main Street.  It was so crowded it was impossible to move.  Sadly, we left, but happily came back next day and all was well.

Me too!  I've tried without success.  I keep getting messages that state my "photos are too large".
