Use a small, flat carabiner and hook your key to a belt loop near your pocket.  If it flies out of your pocket, at least it will be hooked.

Not really lost, but someone stole my reusable mug when I was standing at the counter at Sullivan's Mill.  I always wonder if they drank the spoiled orange juice that was in it.

..I feel very strongly about some of these things. I don't like the two broken down Coke refrigerators standing out along the wall of the barn along the railroad tracks (where the international food is being served for Worldfest). I have to say I saw many, many "Not in Miss Mary's Time" theme issues on my opening day visit, but on my visit for Worldfest a couple of weeks ago, I hardly noticed any. I know times change and big fans along the pathways going into the rides are nice, and that many people enjoy the concessions where they can make their own slush, and the concessions where they can pull a Coke out of a glass door refrigerator, but I'm still against those things.  (Junior)

AMEN TO THAT, JUNIOR!!

Rube, I think you said it well.  It is a public place, but so are schools.  And, every year I get a list of which students cannot be photographed.  One year the Supt. picked out one of my students to pose with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.  I told her this child was not to be photographed, but she blew me off, and it ended up in the paper.  There was hell to pay for that, and I was not taking the blame!  Luckily, I had other students that heard me tell her to choose another student.  Chalk one up for smart little kids!  ;)

Welcome to the Forums! The SDCfans.com Anonymous group meets right here every Thursday night. I bring the food (homemade Lumbercamp Falls Skillet), rube brings the Sarsaparilla, and we're looking for someone to make us some cinnamon bread.   :D :D

Slip me the secret recipe for baking it, and I'll bring it!  ;D

What a great pictorial review of World Fest!  I loved the flag throwers in tights. But...that was the one show that I wanted to see the most.  Since watching the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun", I've wanted to see the flag throwing ceremony.  By the way, did anyone purchase SanPellegrino limonata?  While rummaging around for root beer today, I found the bottle I brought home.  Whoo! Whee!  It was yummy, tart, tangy, and power puckering!  I wasn't expecting it to be so uh..tart...so I would rank it up there with Wildfire Taffy!  ;D If you are going to World Fest, try it out!

We always turn the "smellavision" on as we walk past Delilah's Bakery (and if not too crowded, we often stop for a carryout cinnamon roll), grab a Sasparilla to drink at home, and find ourselves lingering in HH.

I didn't know you could take something perfect and make it better.  If you are a fan of the Big Jack if you add an avacado to it, it's the best thing in the world!!

What did you have?  I haven't eaten there in years, but now I hear it's pre-made sandwiches.  Glad to hear it was good.

I know what you mean!  Even though I'm not a kid (well...not so true - I'm a kid at heart), I miss Huck Finn's Hideaway, also.  When I had younguns' little enough, that is the first place they wanted to go once we entered the park.

I have older mugs also, from around 2006, and several places last year charged us the current year price.  I explained that they should honor the refill price marked on my mug, but it didn't work.  I tried arguing, but didn't get anywhere.
