Never mind, not such a bad place to stay. Ready for their firework show tonight.

W. P,
I don't know what bee got in your bonnet but I'm fixin to get real with you bro. First off the rooms are pretty nice. Second if you are getting a hotel based on the TV you should just stay home and watch home hunters on your BIG TV! Also if you have a problem with the dogs do all of us a favor and stay home with the dog you think is sooooooo much smarter than all of us. And lastly don't post a ridiculous rant and then delete it.  If you have an issue with this please PM  me I would like to discuss this further

Love and hearts

honestly I was there yesterday if I would not have known there in the park I would never noticed. Other than a small blurb in the pathfinder. There was no major signage or announcements about them. All in all I didn't think it was a big deal

The sdcfan rate is not good on holiday weekends :( however Katy will split the difference between the two rates. BTW i guess the weather kept a bunch of people away. We went yesterday  (Fri) and it was walkons all day :o the longest wait was about 10 min

We booked our room about a month ago. And although she could not honor the 40 dollar rate due to the holiday weekend she did split the rate between the regular rate and the sdcfan rate.we are currently here. I am totally sold on this place. Thanks for the tip y'all

Thanks for the tips Captain Tom. We had an absolute blast on our trip. hit the park on Friday per your suggestion and even though it was almost 11 when we arrived it had rained most of the morning and the crowds had thinned out. We got to enjoy the park with low crowds. SDC is my new favorite theme park hands down.

Branson Talk / Re: Progress on new places to eat in Branson
« on: April 21, 2015, 06:15:15 PM »
we just got back from 4 days in Branson and I thought that the town was more kitchy than gaudy. my girls loved the interesting buildings, I grew up in central Florida and it kinda reminded me of home( I drive, Disney, uni, etc) I think its important to remember that Branson is first and foremost a tourist town. and putting a theme restaurant in a plain red brick building generates no eye buzz. that being said Branson and those who love it should embrace the touristy aspects of the town for it will lead to more people spending hard earned vacation money and ultimately building up what is already a great town even more.  :) ;D

my family will be in town April 16-20 any idea about crowd #s this time of year? this is our first trip to the city and we want to make the most of it. We have 2 day passes but will likely only spend a day and a half at the park. also any other insider tips would be helpful, I usually purchase flash passes when we go to SFOT because the lines/people are unbearable(good idea or not?). thanks in advance y'all

What is your definition of unbearable?

20 minutes or 45 minutes?
To me anything over 35-40 min is worth buying a flash pass, we don't have much time there so I would like to make the most of it and optimize our ride time
    thanks again y'all
