Does anyone know if they are getting rid of the food discount for regular pass holders? It appears that they are(it’s not listed on the pass holder benefits).

I think the list is messed up...
they are trying to get people to buy the Gold membership
I looked at it pretty close this weekend,
I couldnt find a specific list for regular SP holders..

pretty sure they "forgot" to list a couple of the regular season pass benefits in order to make the Gold Membership more appealing.. ( i hope so anyway)

And just like that, I was priced out of buying tickets for my family. I hope they give an option for JUST 2021 for the normal price. There is NO WAY I will pay over 600.00 for the chance to go. Especially if I have to wear a mask and make reservations or limit times I can go because they are crowded or my schedule does not match what they have available due to crowd levels.

Sit tight, Keep watching.... They will announce in 2 or 3 weeks the 2021 price and benies just like always...

Last I recall MRF closes with the conclusion of Pumpkin Nights.

That sound accurate..  Water rides are closed during the Christmas Season.

For those that participate in this annual race, I just read that Run to the Lights has been cancelled for this year.  If you're already registered, you'll be getting an email about it soon. Bummer, but I understand the reason why.

Another victim to the plandemic..

Absolutely nothing.  And don’t be surprised if the next big addition comes in 2024 or later

For sure agree with you on this one...

with the massive loss revenue this year from the "plandemic",
it will take a couple of years to recoup and regroup to even consider the next addition,
and that is assuming it goes away or gets better and doesnt have to be dealt with next year.

It is in the plans already, they know what they are going to do, just lost at least 2 years if not 3 before anything "big" happens.

It did appear most people were wearing masks and I heard them call out masks being required in ride lines but did not see them kick anyone out.  I will say the temp thing is a joke.  On Saturday we walked from our car to stop 2 tent and stood in the sun for a while.  The people in front of us had to wait in the tent under the fan for a bit (10-15 minutes) which held up the line.  When it was our turn the wife came back with a 108 temp on their temp gun.  We too had to wait in the tent till hers came down.  I told them they might want to call an ambulance if its that high!!

I was pretty sure the Temp testing would be  a problem...  LOL..
june/july/august?
southern Missouri?
have to walk to a tent to get tested?
what could go wrong there?
after your starting to sweat or at least work up a sweat, you will be hot.
If they checked anybody inside the park, they would be hot also...   sure hope they dont check anyone who just climbed "heart attack hill"..

We went the first 2 days they were open then the next weekend went to WW.  I want to try and get back this month but not sure it will happen.  If it does this coming weekend will be the only option.  The week after next we will be in Florida for a couple of days .  Probably wont be able to make it as often as we did in years past.  If all of Branson goes with a mask requirement it will be a hard pass for us.

Have a good trip to Florida.!!

I dont think Branson will do the mandatory mask thing.
I do agree with you, If it happens, it may be a while before I get back.

I have wondered what their attendance has been and also how many it takes to break even and justify being open.

However, SDC is choosing to follow CDC guidelines outside of what Branson requires.

The Branson aldermen had a meeting yesterday to debate a mask requirement. It was on YouTube and went over 7 hours -- vote postponed for 2 weeks. During the meeting someone said that SDC average attendance was 3000 per day.

If that is the case, how can SDC make enough money to stay open?

whatever actions SDC does, it is their choice.
SDC is not in Branson city limits, so whatever Branson decides to do( IF they can decide to do anything), SDC may or may not follow..

Total paid at OVI was 52.69. We paid more at HOF even though DH called directly and asked for the discount when he made the reservation.

Thats a good rate, glad you were able to get it...

If there is ever a question about HOF, talk to Michele at All Access..   It is way easier to have her make the reservations and put in proper rate..

AS always, IF there is ever a question, i can be contacted through PM here, and I will call or contact Michele and find out where the "miscommunication" is..

We stayed there on Thursday night 7/9 at the discount rate. We did have to stay upstairs though. I actually liked the upstairs room we had better than the ones we have stayed in downstairs. Breakfast was available, pool was open.

We tried Hall of Fame 2 weeks ago but like OVI better.

@Biscuit
Good to hear,
No doubt OVI has more "goodies" to offer,  and if you are able to get in on the Discount rate..  makes it a great deal.!!
What $$rate did you pay?
