I am just curious if she is still works there.. I do not watch The Homestaed Pickers much, except right before the park opens, so i never get to see her. There is some videos on YouTube of her.

Another good topic would be, what are some of the old citizens of SDC doing now, if they dont work at the park any more.

Random Talk / Good day-Bad day

Good day -- It is my daughters 27th B'day. We are going to take her out to eat later today, & hang out. We were going to go to some auto races, but most of them got rained out.

Bad day -- I am putting my cat Winston down today. He has been with me for 15+ years, he has a lot of health issues. It is just time. We have 3 other cats to keep me busy.

Ok, so i was searching around again & found this. The info says it is from 1960, & it only has 8 views! All the SDC fun starts at the 5:54 mark & lasts till the 8:06 mark. I found 1 more that i will post after ya all enjoy this one, & it has the "green trams" in it.

Here we are again! Another snowstorm. We are preparred & staying home. Power has flickered twice already. We have lost DirecTV reception already.

I know i'll catch alil' dirt on this subject, but thats ok. What ya all think? Will she lead the 1st lap? Will someone crash her the 1st lap? Will she finish in the top 10?

1 thing we know.. She was the fastest on qualifing day. I think she is good for the sport & hope she atleast gets a top 10 on raceday. Only time will tell....

It just started snowing here in the North side of KC. Ten inches to a foot of snow predicted! Already have today off, & prob'ly wont make it in Friday because we live out in the country. No roads get plowed till the neighborhood farmers do it.
Anyone else hit by this storm?

Random Talk / Shopping cart wheel

Nothing more aggrivating.... What do you do when you get a cart with a flat spotted rear wheel, or a wobbly front wheel?
Yes, this is another Facebook topic i thought was funny. We usually hunt around for a abandon cart, or, i just make tons of noise with it to make people laugh, because the faster you go, the louder it is.
Next time ya'r at the store, comment on something someone has in their cart right infront of them. And tell ya'r mate, " see, they have .... why cant we have any?!" It will take away the frustration of a bad wheeled cart.

One of my Facebook friends had a cool subject the other day, & it had alot of responses. Do you have any places you cant stand?

QuickTrip!! If we have to go to QT, my wife is sweet enough to go in for us. Too many people in a hurry & rude, & in a small confined area. Needless to say, we dont got to QT much.

Happy New Year to all my SDC friends out there! Hope you had a great 2012, & have a even better 2013.
I am just getting over a case of food poisoning, so we did not celebrate last night. No hangover, YEAH!! But, my wife & i had our first date 9 years ago. So it was nice that it was just her & i last night.

I cant remember when my dad said these were taken, but look at the price for the picture & the admission price for the cave!! It had to be in the early 60s, i think this was from their honeymoon in 1962! I believe they were both 19 at the time.
