In other news, what a wacky day in the Big XII Tournament.

kU gets beat by Baylor.
KSU (who shouldn't have been 4th seed) gets beat by Texas.
oU exits early by getting beat by OSU

then there is MISSOURI who took care of business and is the only "top seed" left.

Honestly I see PARC being the next big player.
I don't look for HFEC to be expanding any time soon.

However, if they bought WOF it would be a smart investment in my mind as KC is becoming a hotspot anymore -- with Schlitterbahn opening and a Hard Rock Casino going to Speedway area, Village West is the new "IT" and with WOF in the area, you know they'll get some residual visitors due to the attention that KCK is getting

There in point lies my problem with your arguement.
If we cared about what the team was going to be ranked 2 months after we played them, there wouldn't be such a hype when the game is actually played.

Well I think Mizzou proved themselves with definitive road wins when they beat Georgia at Georgia, OSU at Stillwater, and definitely Texas at Austin.

I wouldn't call Texas overrated considering that they too beat OU this season.

Also how quickly we forget that Mizzou also have victories over USC and Cal this season.
Plus they swept ISU for the first time in like forever. Hilton Colliseum is hard place for visitors to win in regardless how bad ISU is.

I think my thing with Mizzou is that they are a well balanced team. They don't have to have a marquee player like Griffin because honestly a Griffin would not fit the persona of the Missouri team. There is no star so the team gets it done AS A TEAM and does not have to rely solely on one player. We all saw how OU fell apart wehn Griffin was out of the equation. I'm glad that Mizzou is not like that -- they are a multi-faceted team and not a one-dimensional team like OU is. Another that could plead their case like that is kU.

I don't understand how one could not think Missouri is a great team.
18-0 at home. 3 of their 5 losses were to ranked teams (at the time).

You could say the same thing about kansas. They have lost all of their games on the road or on neutral sites, does that make you think they are not a great team either?

Just trying to figure out your reasoning for a statement that (to me at least) has no merit behind it. I mean we could quote facts and statistics out the wahzoo that states otherwise and support the fact that Missouri is a great team this year.
