You don't think that they just sent a train down there to test if it was even possible?
I highly doubt that they would send the trains down there for good.

A redbird win and we are behind in the 6th. Not looking good. Ye cardinal faithful are a quite lot tonight.

Sorry, we went out last night and didn't get in until late.
Hooray for the Cards. ;) (there you go.  I know a little late, but still)

WOF has discounts, but does not give the gate away like Six Flags.

I can attest that the employees at a lot of the shops despise Kidsfest as their business is way down during that festival.

I think they need to bring back Jack Hanna's Wild America Show with the animals.  That was very neat and everyone seemed to enjoy seeing the baby animals in the show.

^good.  The last time I asked was late June, so I guess July was a good month for them.

WOF is way up.  SFStL is up as well.

However both of those parks are enjoying the fact that the locals are "re-discovering" the parks after a long absence due to the fact they used to go on BIG trips away from the area, whereas now they just go to the local park instead because of the "economy" (GD that excuse is getting old)

The problem with White Water is the fact that it is pretty much land locked.  You have Mickey Gilley to the south.  Hwy 76 to the west. Pat Nash Drive to the north and then the parking lot to the east.

Now you could expand into the parking lot, but the new entrance sort of made that a little more difficult due to its location, so what do you do?

Last time I asked it was flat to just barely up.  While the weekend crowds have been up, it has still be rather slow mid-week.

Well next time you are at the park and want to know what the attendance was for the day, go up to a register and ask, most of them can pull up the numbers for the day.

Ugh, but the Pirates can be our Achilles hill at times... but then the Cubs DID steal all of the Pirates pitching so we might be in luck  ;D

How the heck do the Cubs have a day off?  They are still 4 games behind (played) the Cardinals.

My kids, well the ones that I have seen, seem to be ready to go back.
IDK, I guess I will grin and bear it when it gets here.  Yuck.

I would wager that Pujols' grand slam was a little more impressive then FukUDoMe?'s homer.  ;)
