Dollywood updated guest flow at their front gate this season. I’d be shocked if this isn’t the direction the park is headed

Happy New Year!
Lol, you of all people to say that. Bitching about change has been a pretty good hobby for me over the 15 years we've been discussing things on this forum. I guess it's the one thing we can always count on.
I've heard it's been super busy this week now that the weather has improved. Despite this, the rides are having more issues than ever.
People sure love lights. I feel like the light festivals are the only thing keeping SDC going at this point. It's often dead during the summer (with some exceptions on certain weekends), and spring is often hit and miss with Spring Break being super busy and it being dead the rest of the time. Other parks have tried and basically failed to copy SDC's light bonanza. The setting and the scale of what they do is indeed impressive, but it sure feels like basically every other aspect of the SDC experience has fallen off hard over the past few years. I just wonder what it will take for the crowds to stop coming for the lights. I'll be watching the 2023 crowd levels with interest...
Like I said in another thread, it’s probably time for you to find a different hobby.
Shave has a right to voice his opinion just like everyone else on this forum. Heaven knows you voice yours enough, Swoosh.

Meh. I miss old Lake Silver. Hard to believe that over the past 8 years it's become such a puddle surrounded by rides. Might as well fill the rest in at this point. Really wish they'd fix the hole where the swings were originally, but I guess it's all pointless now.
There is a marker and paint on the new peninsula in Lake Silver by Fireman’s landing. Are we expecting the little swings to move this off-season?
Still need to chop a few feet off the front of the lumbercamp seating area as well, IMO.
I'm sure SDC will also take this time to do any other work they need to do on the RR, including cleaning up the old wreck site, etc.

Wouldn't all investigations (or most) need to be completed before cleanup? Of course maybe enough have been completed to determine cause that cleanup could begin.
Track is confirmed. Now installed on lower level and level two. Resembles brown RMC I-box trackAny photos?
