It must depend on the performer.  They were definitely off for Rhonda Vincent

I posted it already in the trip report thread but I’ll post it here as well

Guess we are blind -- walked up and down the corkscrew Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, and early Friday afternoon -- went to Sullivan's Mill and to Hannah's and never saw the fence or destruction going on....

Well in your defense the work is much farther west then where you were in Midtown.  In fact one could probably have walked down Hill Street and missed it.  Hence why Big Jacks went out of business in the first place.  It was hid

My dad did the artwork in that shop back in the 60's. Sad to see it go. Hope they saved some of it.

I wouldn’t hold my breath

What need to be done with Lost River?

They could replace it with some kind of diving bell.

Remove AP and then build it there.  They could use the Lake/Waterfall for the entrance facade.  They’ll need to eventually rebuild that waterfall anyway so 2 birds 1 stone.

A version of Aquatopia at TDS would be better though

This is just me talking...

I think we’ll see the Lost River and American Plunge dealt with before we see anything major happen at FM and FITH.

Personally I think complete rebuilds will need to happen.  I think integration of the two rides into FL would be ideal.  The new log flume could go in the WB lot.  The new LR could be themed to fire boat rafts and maybe even have a waterfall like Infinity Falls.

Major rehab on the canals.  Apparently that earthquake we had last year (?) made it rather porous and it loses a lot of water.

In other news, I hear there's some kind of new construction going on in midtown? I'll be there this weekend to see for myself, but if you have photos from today, throw them at us!

Big Jacks is being removed.  No other details than that

Well if you’re like my family, you spend at least $15/meal when we visit.  If there was a dining plan like what they have at CF/SF parks for like $115 for the season where you could get 2 meals a day it would pay for itself in under 4 visits.  We visit a lot more than just 4 times a year.

The season mugs at CF/SF parks are good for the season for unlimited refills.  They’re usually $30 or so.  Refills on mugs now are around $3 each time.  Not too hard to see how quickly that would add up to meet that initial investment.

The Photopix is already in place apparently, just isn’t being pushed like it should be.

The dinner and show would be the most difficult to integrate to show value so I’ll ignore that one for now.

The basic gold pass might be cheaper than buying 1 day tickets at each park

Um, You would save money in the long run?  :o

FYI.  I confirmed with their PR person that they will not be ready this weekend like they originally planned.  They’re hoping it’ll only be a week delay, but she stated she wouldn’t know until later this week at the earliest

TT is fun, but it’s far from my favorite coaster at the park.  I think if the launches were stronger then maybe.  Being just “fun” isn’t a bad thing though

Here is our May 10th - Silver Dollar City - Bluegrass & BBQ Photo Trip Report.

One thing that we noticed this year is that a lot of "traditionals" are missing this year.  There is no Sauce Tasting Tent on the square.  There is no "America's Backyard" shop in the Frisco Barn.  There is no Barn Dance in the Carousel Barn.  The food in the House of BBQ is all being handled by the park - so no Dickie's this year.  We just found it interesting.  The live entertainment is still really good though.  Rhonda Vincent and the Rage put on a great performance like normal.
