Near as I can tell nobody has ever heard of a whoopie around these parts.

Yes there is some sort of stage area back behind the float place. And no, no sound effects on the bridge.

Birthday cake, vanilla, and some sort of mint. Did they have them last year? I have never seen them before and would really like to know who or how they came up with the idea to start selling them.

Nope it’s as bad as ever, actually worse probably. Seems to have more rough spots to me.

I noticed as we were leaving they are now selling whoopie pies at the cinnamon roll place as you leave. Does anybody have any real legitimate inside info as to where they came up with the idea for these?

When we rode fire in the hole the guy putting us in line said they had done a bunch of work to the track and it was now very smooth on the drops. He wasn’t lying, it was quite a bit of difference. The ride looked and rode great. Hard to believe they would put work into it to just tear it down soon.

We left at about 12:30. The place was not packed by any means but the lines for
Rides appeared to be very long. TT was backed up all the way to the top
Of the stairs. PK was backed out of the building. Fortunately we had season trailblazer passes. The masks made the visit very h comfortable. So much so we it started getting to hot and hard to breath so we left. A side effect for me was I started getting nauseous after riding the coasters with the mask on.

I’m here now waiting for opening. So far everyone is in masks. Will see how long that lasts. I’m already starting to get miserable sitting here in this mask.

We arrived in Branson this evening to head to the city tomorrow.  From what I can tell everything it town seems to be about normal.  Plenty of crowds and most things seem open. One thing I did notice as we picked up the coupon books is some of the places actually have good coupons in there.  Must need business.  For example McFarlins normally has a 10% off coupon and this year it is 25% off.

I get the backlash but come on, hoping they go out of business?  I guess that is the society we live in today.  I bet it ends up being a very slow season this year.

So what everyone wearing a mask the whole time?  What about on the rides?

Uhhhh, I bought trailblazer season passes for this year.  Should I try to get a refund or use them?

I was just talking to my doctor yesterday about the subject of masks.  He confirmed what I have been saying the whole time.  Masks are for keeping things in, not keeping things out.  On other words, if you are coughing then by all means wear one to keep from spreading whatever you might have.  If you are not, then they do very little good and continuing to reuse them just puts more contaminates on your face.

13th and 14th.  I need to figure out when the guest passes are for WW then schedule that so the kid can go.

A couple of points/questions.  First question is, lets say they do only have a max 5k people on the park, will they run all the trains on the rides for "social distancing" or only run 1 train like they normally would on a slow Sunday.  The thing about the masks is asking for trouble.  If people are wearing disposable masks that they get rid of that is one thing.  Most people continue to reuse them or are wearing those homemade cloth mask that do nothing. These mask are collecting all sorts of contaminates that you then put on your face and inhale.  If you are taking the off for thrill rides, what are you supposed to do with them?  Stick them in a cubby and collect even more germs and contaminates.
