Um, You would save money in the long run?  :o

That's what I'm looking for, Swoosh.  Where would I save money?

I admit there may be benefits to HFE in all these plans, but I see no benefit whatever to me/my family.

I know:  it's not a charity.    I neither need nor want charity, but I can be priced out of the market.

What's in all this for me?

Actually, the crowd was not too bad at all--I have seen MUCH worse.  There were several school bands there and quite a few Moms, but no real crowding.

The longest lines I saw were for the Lost River, but even those weren't spilling over into the area by the Riverfront Playhouse.

It was hot, and maybe the new ride soaked up part of the crowd.  Dunno, but it was really a pleasant day.

I'm bringing my wife tomorrow for Mother's Day.  Anyone else going to be there?

Looks like we'll be there on Saturday, 9/9.  We *might* get to Branson early enough to come in Friday afternoon, but probably not.  We've reserved a room at the Class Friday night.

We've walked from over by Stop 2 before, but my wife just isn't capable of walking that far anymore.  Three hip replacements and arthritis in the spine take their toll.  So we depend on the trams.

Over the past two years, service ahs been variable:  we sometimes see a line of them waiting to pick up guests, and we sometimes have had to wait for almost an hour.

Well, it seems our May trip is going to come off this weekend.  I suspect we'll get a little wet, but we'll beat the Memorial Weekend crowds.  Bonus:  it will be the whole family.

Here's hoping you will get plenty of other chances to go this year my friend!

Thanks, my friend!  Maybe in May . . .

Looks like the wife and I and maybe one son will be there 4/22 for the first time this year.  Looking forward to it!

Well, it will be just my wife and son today:  work kept me home.  I hope they get some dry time.

*sigh*  I guess I have to be contrary. . . .

I loathe LED lights for Christmas.  They are cold and garish.

It looks like the wife and I and the younger son will be in the city tomorrow, 10/15.  Anybody else going to be there?

Not interested in a new show for the train.  It is the very consistency that appeals to me.

Paige is still in town and doing well,,  she did indeed lose her sight, but is hopeful it will return, I see her from time to time at a show.  One of our local buddies sometimes picks her up and brings to the show to join in..

What on earth happened?  We had no idea she was ill!  We rarely get to shows, but I know you saw her often.  When you see her again, tell her that Steve and Lori Allen say Hi and pray for her.
